Iraqi Airways has launched a new weekly Airbus A320 service from Munich Munich to the Near East – a route that was previously serviced by the German carrier Germania which went bust earlier this year.
Starting immediately, the airline will be operating a weekly flight from the Bavarian capital to the Iraqi cities of Erbil and Baghdad.
After flying to Erbil, Iraqi Airways will continue to Baghdad. The trip will take around five hours.
