Three years after its start, Scandinavian Aviator Airport Alliance Europe AB and Italy’s GH Italia have joined the ground.net handlers’ alliance. At the same time, ground.net has revealed a new company logo and relaunched its website. The new logo includes a multicolour asterisk symbol which the network claims emphasises “the dynamic European network and innovative partnership of ground.net”.
ground.net now has five members and is based on close co-operation in sales and marketing at members’ locations in Germany, Greece, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Switzerland, Scandinavia, the UK and Italy. The alliance was created to offer airline customers network agreements as an alternative to global players in the market for ground handling services. Apart from sales and marketing, the co-operation also covers information technology (IT), procurement of equipment, employee qualification and establishment of standardised operating processes.
The members of the alliance are: AeroGround Flughafen München; Goldair Handling with operations at 31 airports in Greece, Cyprus and Bulgaria; Airline Assistance Switzerland (AAS); GH Italia; and Aviator.
