French ground handling firm continues its expansion since the pandemic

French handling firm Onet Airport Services was on show at the Connect Route Development Forum in Lublin.

Onet provides a full range of handling services and is now operating across 11 airports in France.

“We do all of the services around the flight,” explained Onet Airport Services Commercial Business Manager Loïc Lechat. “We do cargo and commercial flights, we do the cleaning, the boarding, handling the luggage. Everything the company needs done with the airplane.”

Onet most recently began working at Nantes Airport in partnership with Spanish carrier Volotea, adding to existing operations at airports including Baritz, Bordeaux, Dijon, Limoges, Marseille and Paris Charles de Gaulle.

This continues its expansion since the pandemic. “Since then we have opened one airport a year and I hope 2026 will be the same,” Lechat said. “We try to be bigger and bigger and look at other markets.”

Onet Airport Services is the handling unit of French engineering and services company Onet, which also includes operations in cleaning, nuclear services and security.
