Japan Airlines adds Tokyo-Bengaluru route

Japan Airlines (JAL) will start a new non-stop service between Tokyo-Narita Airport and Bengaluru Airport in India during the summer of 2020.

As direct flights are currently not in service from Japan, the airline said the launch of this route will provide customers from North America a new option when traveling to the southern region of India.

Through the expansion of JAL’s international network, the carrier said it looks to contribute to the further development and economic growth in both countries.

In order to realise the JAL Vision, as introduced in the JAL Group Medium Term Management Plan, and the airline said it will continue expanding its network.
