Jourik Hooghe joins Swissport from Wizz Air, one of the largest and fast-growing low-cost airlines in Europe. He will report to Warwick Brady, President & CEO of Swissport.

“I am pleased to announce Jourik Hooghe as our new Group CFO,” says Warwick Brady, President & CEO of Swissport International AG.

“Jourik can draw on extensive industry experience in various senior finance and commercial roles. As the CFO of Wizz Air, he successfully guided the airline through the Covid economy.

“I look forward to having him on the team to support us in creating value for our customers and our shareholders.”

Before joining Swissport, Jourik Hooghe served as Executive Vice President and Group CFO of Wizz Air.

His early career was spent at Procter & Gamble. He is also a non-executive Director at International Distribution Services Plc (LSE:IDS).

A Belgian national, Jourik Hooghe holds a degree in Commercial Engineering from KU Leuven university and is a resident of Switzerland.

“On behalf of the Executive Team and the Board of Directors, I would like to thank Iván for his exemplary contributions,” says Warwick Brady.

“Immediately upon joining Swissport, Iván’s primary focus was on refinancing the company and putting in place a transformation plan for the finance function.

“With those objectives now in place, I would like to wish him the very best for the future.”
