KLM cancels flights due to storm Eunice

The flag carrier airline of the Netherlands KLM has announced the cancellation of a number of flight due to storm Eunice:

“The weather forecast for Friday 18 February paints a picture of heavy wind gusts.

“This causes that a very limited operation at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. This means that we have now canceled 177 flights (legs) and more are expected.

“In addition, today’s weather may also lead to delays.

“KLM understands that these cancellations are very annoying for passengers.

“Especially because this situation occurs at the start of the spring break.

“All passengers who are confronted with cancellations will of course be informed about this by KLM.

“They will also be rebooked on other flights. KLM does her utmost to get all passengers to their destination as quickly as possible.

“Regarding the disruptions and the spring break, we advise all passengers to check the most current information about their flight at www.klm.nl before traveling to Schiphol”.
