London Southend Airport is extending its popular Geneva route, offering passengers more opportunities to enjoy the Swiss city beyond the winter ski season.

EasyJet will operate flights on Mondays and Fridays from 31 August to 23 October, providing an additional eight weeks of service. The route had already been extended to mid-June, and the latest schedule ensures travellers can now visit Geneva well into autumn.

The Swiss city is increasingly being promoted as a year-round destination, offering lakeside strolls, mountain hikes, café-lined streets and autumn scenery, not just winter sports.

Nigel Mayes, Business Development Director at London Southend Airport, said: “Passengers in Essex, London and East Anglia can now enjoy the diversity of Geneva in every season.

“From summer sunshine to crisp autumn views, Geneva has truly shaken off its ‘winter-only’ reputation.”

The extended Geneva flights add to London Southend Airport’s growing network, which now includes 25 easyJet destinations for 2026. The expansion offers travellers more options for short breaks, summer escapes or late-season skiing trips.
