LOT Polish Airlines touches down in Oslo for the first time

LOT Polish Airlines has today operated its inaugural service into Oslo Airport – becoming the the gateway’s 10th Star Alliance carrier.

The carrier will run an Embraer 195 twice a week from Warsaw Chopin Airport and it becomes the 21st link between airport operator Avinor’s airports in Norway and Poland.

LOT said the service will ultimately target business passengers wanting to travel between the two capital cities, as well as onward connections.

Avinor vice president of traffic development, Jasper Spruit said: “We’re very proud to welcome another Star Alliance carrier to Oslo, providing numerous global connections for Norwegian travellers on our new partner’s extensive route network.”
