Malaysia Airlines has marked its return to Paris after relaunching flights between Kuala Lumpur International Airport and Charles de Gaulle Airport on 22 March.

The reinstatement of Malaysia Airlines’ direct KLIA-CDG service marks the carrier’s 68th destination, “reinforcing its position as the gateway to Asia and beyond”.

Malaysia Airlines will operate four weekly flights between Kuala Lumpur and Paris from 22-27 March before increasing to daily flights from 29 March.

Dersenish Aresandiran, chief commercial officer of airlines at Malaysia Airlines Group, said: “The launch of our direct service to Paris marks a significant milestone for Malaysia Airlines as we expand our European footprint and reconnect Malaysia with one of the world’s most iconic destinations.

“This route not only strengthens our position as the gateway to Asia and beyond but also reflects the growing demand for seamless travel between Malaysia and France.

“In anticipation of this return, we introduced the ‘Time for Paris’ campaign last year, inviting travellers to rediscover the magic of the City of Light with Malaysia Airlines’ signature Malaysian Hospitality.

“We are thrilled to now bring this journey to life and look forward to welcoming passengers on board for a truly memorable travel experience.”

With the reinstatement of this service, passengers can now access four additional US destinations from Paris including New York (JFK), Dallas (DFW), Miami (MIA), and Orlando (ORD) via Malaysia Airlines’ partnership with American Airlines.
