Malindo Air enhances connectivity at secondary airports

Malindo Air has added new services from Langkawi to Phuket starting 26 March 2019 and Johor Bahru to Guangzhou from 2 April 2019 respectively.

Flights from Senai Airport – Johor Bahru to Guangzhou Baiyuan International Airport will operate three-weekly utilising a narrowbody Boeing 737-800 aircraft. It adds to a daily Kuala Lumpur and Guangzhou route already operated.

The Langkawi International Airport to Phuket International Airport will also run three times a week and utilise an ATR600-72 aircraft will be deployed for the flights.

Malindo chief executive officer, Chandran Rama Muthy said the  Johor Bahru and Guangzhou route will complement its network and opens more options to passengers and the airline is hoping the connection between Langkawi and Phuket will attract tourists from Phuket to also visit Langkawi.
