Delta is welcoming the newest members of Team Delta for the upcoming Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026.
From the slopes to the skies, Delta’s sponsorship of these Team USA athlete ambassadors will help elevate and amplify their journeys to the Milano Cortina 2026 Games.
As the official airline of Team USA, Delta is on a multi-year journey to celebrate the spirit of excellence, resilience and unity that these athletes embody.
Across cities like Beijing, Paris and now Milan, Delta continues its work with Team USA — championing their potential and helping bring them closer to gold.
“We believe meaningful journeys begin with intention — whether an athlete is chasing a dream to represent their country, or our people are delivering the world-class experiences they’ve become known for,” said Alicia Tillman, Delta’s chief marketing officer.
“This shared sense of purpose is why Delta’s role goes far beyond simply getting these athletes or customers to their destinations.
“These athletes exemplify what it means to lead with purpose and power, and our 100,000 employees are proud to stand beside them as they prepare to take on the world in Milano Cortina.”
Delta will welcome a familiar face to our Milan Cortina athlete ambassador team with figure skater Amber Glenn, who joined Delta’s athlete roster for the Olympic Winter Games Beijing 2022.
New athletes will also join Team Delta, including the ‘Shib Sibs,’ Maia and Alex Shibutani, the dynamic duo who were the first ice dance team of colour to medal at the Winter Olympics.
This year’s roster also includes a meaningful Delta family connection: US Paralympian and three-time gold medalist in Sled Hockey Declan Farmer, whose mother, Patti Farmer, proudly serves as a Delta flight attendant.
Delta will also team up with Aerialist Skier Justin Schoenefeld, US Olympic Gold Medalist in Mixed Team Aerials from the Olympic Winter Games Beijing 2022 – another athlete with a special Delta connection, as Schoenefeld’s mother is a long-time Delta flight attendant.
And Delta will welcome Alpine Skiing legend Lindsey Vonn to the team as she makes her historic run on the road to the Olympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026.
One of the most decorated skiers in history, Vonn has won four World Cup overall titles and holds 82 World Cup race victories – more than any other American skier.
Her Olympic gold medal in 2010 made her the first American woman to win the Downhill event.
Team Delta athletes are more than competitors — they’re storytellers, leaders and symbols of purpose in motion.
As sponsored athletes for Delta, they are featured prominently in Delta’s campaigns, where the airline highlights their journeys through compelling digital content, commercial storytelling and activations that bring fans closer to their path to the Olympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026.
Delta’s support allows opportunities for athletes to engage with each other, with fans and with Delta’s 100,000 employees, fostering a sense of unity and inspiration that extends far beyond the Games.
Follow along as Team Delta athletes take flight toward Milan Cortina 2026 — and discover how Delta is helping power their journey, one purposeful mile at a time.
