Menzies Aviation has secured ground handling contract wins and a contract renewal at two key stations in the Oceania region.

At Auckland Airport, New Zealand’s largest and busiest airport, Menzies’ ground handling portfolio continues to grow with the agreement of two significant contracts.

This includes a five year contract with Korean Air, which will see Menzies Aviation handle passenger, ramp and cargo services for the flag carrier of South Korea.

Menzies has also been appointed by Qatar Airways to deliver passenger and ramp handling services at the airport for a three-year term.

At Macau International Airport, flag carrier Air Macau has extended its partnership with Menzies for another five years. With a long-standing relationship dating back to 1995, the contract renewal sees Menzies Aviation deliver a full suite of ground handling services at Air Macau’s hub.

Menzies Aviation interim chief executive officer, Giles Wilson said: “It is great to see our customer base at Auckland grow through these new agreements with valued customers Korean Air and Qatar Airways.

“We are proud that Air Macau has chosen Menzies once again as its preferred ground handling partner. The renewal is testament to our well-established and trusted relationship with Air Macau, earned through the consistently high quality service and dedication of our team serving the airline.

“These contract wins and renewal demonstrate the value of long-term cooperation with airline customers, as we pursue our strategy of growing key accounts and forming productive and close partnerships in the Oceania region.”
