Michael Latta appointed MD of WISAG Passage Service Frankfurt

Michael Latta has been appointed managing director of WISAG Passage Service Frankfurt and he will take on the role from 1 June, 2019.

In his new post the experienced aviation manager (pictured above) will have responsibility for all WISAG passage services at Frankfurt Airport. Latta has many years’ know-how in both the airline and handling sectors.

WISAG said he is an expert in the fields of passenger handling and corporate development. From 2005 onward, engineering graduate Latta was MD of AHS in Düsseldorf and Frankfurt, overseeing the implementation of new services and business fields.

Before that, he held executive posts at the LTU airline, including the positions of regional manager ground handling and quality management auditor.

WISAG Passage Service Division holding manager, Michael Richter said: “Following our first successful year at Frankfurt Airport, the time has come to further expand our management team. We are delighted to have recruited for WISAG Michael Latta, a seasoned and experienced colleague who will provide significant impetus for the ongoing development of the company.”

Latta added: “I am looking forward to being part of an open, constructive environment at WISAG and to tackling the future challenges facing our dynamically developing industry together with a strong team.”

The passage services include not only passenger processing and ticket sales, but also baggage tracing, VIP services, care of children traveling alone, and flight operation services.
