Morocco’s National Airports Office (ONDA) has unveiled a series of infrastructure tenders worth more than 200 million dirhams (£14m), aimed at upgrading facilities at four airports across the country.
At Tétouan–Sania Ramel Airport, over MAD 107m (£8.4m) has been earmarked for the creation of a new aircraft parking area and associated roadway works, with bids due by 23 September.
Marrakech Menara Airport will see the construction of new restroom blocks under a project valued at MAD 47.96m (£3.7m), with proposals closing on 4 September.
Al Hoceima–Cherif Idrissi Airport is set to benefit from new aircraft parking space and runway edge treatment works, budgeted at MAD 42.9m (£3.4m), also with a 23 September deadline.
Meanwhile, Tangier Ibn Battuta Airport will undergo an expansion of its baggage claim area, with investment of MAD 5.38m (£425,000). Bids for this project are required by 4 September.
ONDA said the projects are part of its wider modernisation strategy to improve passenger experience and enhance operational capacity across Morocco’s airport network.
