NAC requests CAAN to provide ground handling rights of Pokhara airport

A request has been made to the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) by Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) to give it the ground handling rights of the Pokhara Regional International Airport (PRIA).

A press release has been issued by the NAC, requesting CAAN to provide the ground handling work of PRIA as it is currently doing the ground handling work of the Tribhuvan and Gautam Buddha international airports.

The corporation has been providing ground handling services for its own and other international airlines since its inception. Within the statement it is also mentioned that the corporation has long managerial experience, skilled manpower, necessary technology and resources. Currently, the corporation is operating flights to 10 different destinations.
