Nicolas Deviller appointed CEO of Airport International Group

In a recent development, Airport International Group, the Jordanian firm entrusted with the oversight of the rehabilitation, expansion, and operation of Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA), has officially announced the appointment of Nicolas Deviller as its Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

The appointment, effective from January 14, 2024, sees Deviller succeeding Nicolas Claude.

Bringing to the role over two decades of experience in the airport industry, Deviller’s prior experience includes a nearly 12-year tenure as the Director of International Development Infrastructures Projects at Vinci Airports headquarters.

Subsequently, he assumed the position of CEO at Vinci Airports in Cambodia, where he played a pivotal role for three years, overseeing the construction and management of significant projects such as Phnom International Penh Airport, Siem Reap Airport, and Sihanoukville International Airport.

During his time at Vinci Airports, Deviller also served as the Director of Road Operations of International Activities.

In 2016, Deviller joined Groupe ADP, taking on the role of Deputy CEO of Ravinala Airports. Over a three-year period, he managed operations at Madagascar’s two main airports.

Since 2019, Deviller has actively contributed as a Member of the Board and various executive committees for key subsidiaries within Groupe ADP’s portfolio, including TAV Airports (comprising 15 airports), Liège Airport, and Stewart Airport (New York).

Expressing his gratitude to outgoing CEO Nicolas Claude, Deviller stated, “I’d like to extend my sincere appreciation to my esteemed colleague, Mr. Nicolas Claude, for his outstanding leadership over the past four years.

He further added, “With numerous ambitious plans on the horizon and milestones to achieve, I am confident that, together with our grantor, the Government of Jordan, as well as our highly committed employees, partners, and shareholders, we will reinforce QAIA’s standing as Jordan’s prime gateway to the world.”
