Milan Bergamo Airport has announced the launch of Nile Air’s new service to Cairo, commencing 28 June 2024.

The introduction of Nile Air’s three weekly flights further enriches Milan Bergamo Airport’s robust network of destinations, providing travellers with even more convenient access to one of Egypt’s most vibrant and historic cities.

Utilising a modern fleet of 164-seat Airbus A320 aircraft on the route, Nile Air will offer passengers a comfortable and reliable travel experience.

Flights will operate on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, providing travellers with increased flexibility when planning their itineraries.

Giacomo Cattaneo, Director of Commercial Aviation at SACBO, expressed his enthusiasm for the new partnership, stating: “We are delighted to welcome Nile Air to Milan Bergamo Airport and to introduce their new route to Cairo.

“Egypt is a culturally rich and diverse destination with strong ties to Italy, and we are confident that this service will be well-received by both leisure and business travellers.”

In addition to offering convenient nonstop flights to Cairo, Nile Air’s service will also facilitate onward connections to various destinations across North Africa and the Middle East, further enhancing accessibility and convenience for travellers.
