Norse Atlantic Airways again recorded its highest-ever load factor in a month after achieving 94 per cent in December last year.
The record represents a 23-percentage point increase from 71 per cent in the same period of 2023.
The airline operated 434 flights and transported 124,450 passengers across its network as well as charter operations – a 57 per cent increase in passenger numbers compared to the same period last year.
53 per cent of those flights departed within 15 minutes of their scheduled departure time, with a 100 per cent flight completion rate achieved.
Meanwhile, 33 per cent of the flights arrived within 15 minutes of their scheduled arrival time.
There were negative impacts from air traffic control and air traffic flow management restrictions enroute, combined with airport related challenges through the peak season.
Norse Atlantic reports that charter services saw substantial growth, with 158 flights operated in December 2024 compared to only 22 in December 2023.
