Norse Atlantic Airways has reported a record 94% load factor across its scheduled network and ACMI/charter operations for July 2025 — a notable 11-percentage point increase on the same month last year.

The airline also achieved a 94% load factor on its own scheduled services, up 12 percentage points from 82% in July 2024, signalling continued strength in demand for transatlantic travel.

Across the month, Norse operated 604 scheduled flights, a slight reduction from 630 in July last year, while its ACMI and charter activity surged, with 54 flights operated, compared to just nine in the same period of 2024.

In total, the carrier transported 203,712 passengers, marking a 15% year-on-year increase.

On-time performance remained steady at 70%, marginally up from 69% last year. However, the airline acknowledged that air traffic control delays and airport congestion continue to impact punctuality.

The improved figures reflect growing passenger demand and strategic use of aircraft through wet-lease and charter operations, as Norse continues to expand its footprint in the competitive long-haul leisure market.

Bjørn Tore Larsen, CEO, Founder and major shareholder of Norse Atlantic, comments: “Norse Atlantic Airways continues to deliver strong passenger growth and world-leading load factor.

“July was the ninth consecutive month above 90%, reflecting the successful introduction of our data driven market strategy late last year.

“This provides good momentum into the third quarter as we deliver our affordable, value for money product to customers worldwide.”
