Norwegian airport operator Avinor has reporrted that a total of just over 4.6 million passengers travelled to/from its airports in May – a decline of 2.3 per cent compared to the same month last year.
Domestic traffic decreased by 2.8 per cent and international traffic decreased by two per cent.
Avinor’s two busiest gateways saw contrasing results as Oslo Airport experienced a decline of 2.6 per cent but Bergen Airport an increase of 3.2 per cent.
Avinor said the figures are largely influenced by the strike among the SAS pilots that lasted three days into May.
