Norwegian passengers will once again be able to travel from Oslo to Dubai after the carrier revealed it plans on running a five-weekly service again from 28 October.
The route between Oslo and Dubai will be operated by the new Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Oslo Airport’s operator is Avinor and vice president of traffic development, Jasper Spruit has welcomed the return of the route and believes that even better connections between Norway and Dubai is good for both Norwegian business and tourism.
He said: “We are very delighted that Norwegian being a very important partner for Avinor will now add Dubai to its large network out of Oslo. The route will now give Norwegian travelers from entire country possibility to fly to this exciting city and also boost inbound tourism from Dubai to Northern Norway and Fjords.”
Norwegian chief commercial officer, Thomas Ramdahl said: “Travelers have showed great interest in the route, wanting Dubai back on Norwegians route map.”
