Norwegian Air Shuttle will begin new three-weekly non-stop service from Stockholm Arlanda Airport to Talinn in Estonia from 30 October this year.
Swedavia aviation business director, Elizabeth Axtelius said: “It is very good news that Norwegian continues to invest in Stockholm Arlanda. Air traffic from Stockholm Arlanda to Tallinn has risen sharply in recent years.
“Since 2014, we have seen an increase of almost 150 per cent, which clearly shows that there is strong demand.”
Along with the new route to Tallinn, Norwegian is also increasing the number of departures to popular destinations during the winter season.
There will be additional departures from Stockholm Arlanda to Nice, Larnaca, Budapest, Marrakech, Tel Aviv, Krakow, Palma, Malaga, Dubai, London, Riga and Vilnius. There will be increased departures from Göteborg Landvetter Airport to London and Malaga.
Norwegian chief commercial officer, Thomas Ramdahl added: “It is gratifying to be able to launch non-stop service between Stockholm and Tallinn while at the same time we are increasing the number of departures to attractive destinations this winter. The new route and the increased departures give our passengers even more options, and we look forward to welcoming passengers on board our new, fuel-efficient aircraft.”
