OmniServ enhances staff training capabilities with David Wheeler appointment

Airline and airport assistance service provider OmniServ has appointed David Wheeler as head of learning and development, as part of the company’s continued focus on staff training and development.

With 20 years of extensive experience in the finance, facilities management (FM) and communications industries, Wheeler has worked in a variety of training, learning & development roles.

He will be responsible for creating a training strategy across the OmniServ and Blackjack business, bringing consistency to the vast training programmes the company provides its team members.

Wheeler also will establish a set of training standards, develop the skill sets of the training team, develop online course offerings and work with the operational and Health and Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) teams to develop bespoke training as required.

Wheeler joins OmniServ from OCS Group, where he spent the last four years as head of learning and development (UK, Middle East & Ireland).
