Fabio is a seasoned manager in Air Transport, with more than 20 years in the industry. He was born in 1970 in Geneva, Switzerland, and moved to Brussels in 2002, where he currently resides, with his wife and son. He started his career at the Civil Air Navigation Services Organisation (CANSO) upon his return to Geneva in the late 90s, then joined The Boeing Company as a Deputy Director Air Traffic Management in Brussels. He proceeded with the position of Deputy SG of the now defunct Association of European Airlines (AEA), before leading the European Business Aviation Association (EBAA) during six years until 2016. He is currently managing two Associations in parallel, namely the Airline Catering Association (ACA) based in Belgium, and the Airport Services Association (ASA) based in Switzerland.

After 15 years at British Airways in various Finance, strategy, commercial and Airport Operations roles Steve joined the Emirates Group in 2008 as Vice President Operations for dnata. He then led the Emirates Group internal consulting division for 5 years before taking over as Head of dnata’s UAE Airport Operations in 2016. He lives in Dubai, has twin daughters aged 16 and is a big sports fan.

Being a graduate of and also having his post-graduate in Istanbul University Political Sciences Faculty International Relations Department, S. Mete Erna began his professional life in aviation industry in 1995 at Havaş. Undertaking several positions at various airline and ground handling services companies in Turkey, and abroad throughout his career, Erna rejoined Havaş family in 2014 and continued working on sales, marketing and business development operations. S. Mete Erna had been working as the Deputy General Manager in charge of Sales and Marketing since October 2017 and assigned as the Acting General Manager of Havaş as from July 1st, 2020 and as General Manager as from October 1st, 2020.

Luis Felipe de Oliveira has led Airports Council International (ACI) World as Director General since June 2020, applying his vast experience in commercial and technical aviation. He believes that aviation has a crucial role to play in fostering social and economic growth worldwide and is committed to helping ACI members and business partners sustainably recover from the impact of the pandemic. Luis Felipe’s career in aviation began after serving 12 years at Shell (Latin America and Europe) when he joined the International Air Transport Association (IATA) in Switzerland to lead fuel and airport campaigns, in collaboration with governments, oil companies, fuel service providers and airports for diverse world regions. His service at IATA lasted a decade before joining the World Fuel Services as Vice President of Supply Development for Latin America and Caribbean.

Janis’ portfolio includes dnata's operations in Brazil, Canada, Iraq and Pakistan as well as growth opportunities in related markets. Janis previously held the position of VP Commercial, having joined the company early in 2014 as Head of Ground Handling Services for International Operations. His earlier positions have included those of CEO of HAVAS Europe in Latvia, Finland, Germany and Sweden; VP and Member of the Board at Riga International airport; and Business Development Manager at SAS Ground Services, UK. Prior to that Janis was VP Ground Operations in the airBaltic Corporation. Janis hold an MBA in Aviation from Donau-Universität Krems, Austria.

Mr. Papamichail started his career in Goldair SA in 1986 as part of the operational team, at Athens Hellinikon Airport. During his 7 years of General Manager, he succeeded in quadrupling the company’s revenues. In 2002, Mr. Papamichail joined Goldair Handling SA, as the first Station Manager of Thessaloniki International Airport “Makedonia”, achieving top operational and financial performance. In 2010, Mr. Papamichail has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of Goldair Handling SA for Greece and Bulgaria, while he is a Board member of the Cypriot JV “LGS” (Louis Goldair Services), a Board member of the Swiss JV “Goldair AAS Assistance” in Zurich, Board member of “ground.net alliance” and member of “CEO Clubs Greece”. 
Christopher Licht

Christopher started in the aviation industry back in 2006 at Avia Partner in Frankfurt. After working for a GHA he switched to the Airline world and worked until 2018 for different Airlines. The latest Airline job was at Qatar Airways between 2012 and 2018, where he was operationally responsible for Central & Eastern Europe. Between 2018 and 2019 Christopher worked 1.5 years as Regional Gateway Handling Manager Europe for Kühne & Nagel before he joined Celebi as COO in October 2019. After 1 year as COO Christopher was promoted to CEO of Celebi Cargo Germany. In addition he is a member of the IATA ICHC and the Chairman of the ASA Cargo Committee.
Thomas Romig
Vice President Safety, Security & Operations Airports Council International (ACI) World
Thomas Romig joined Airports Council International (ACI) in November 2020 as Vice President Safety, Security and Operations. He heads up all advocacy efforts and programme areas related to airport operations – ranging from Airside Safety and Capacity through to Cargo, Facilitation and Security and across into Innovation and IT. Prior to this, he held a number of senior leadership positions at Geneva Airport in Switzerland, both in Safety and then Operations where among his multiple functions he was in charge of the development of the Airport Operations Center, the day-to-day management of airport operations and all the master planning activities. Over the years he has been strongly involved in ICAO and EASA regulatory activities as a representative of the airport’s community through ACI. 
Sally Leible
President & CEO Airport Terminal Services
Ms. Leible has been with Airport Terminal Services since its inception in 1975.  She started as a Station Manager in St. Louis, moved to Director of Operations, promoted to Vice President of Operations, and then to Vice President of Sales & Marketing. In this capacity, she had responsibility for the oversight of expanding into numerous airports under the ownership of Ozark Airlines and later TWA.  She currently serves as the President and CEO. Under Ms. Leible’s leadership, the company has grown dramatically to over 50 airport locations served in the US and Canada. Ms. Leible served on the Board of NATA and as it’s Chairperson from 2005-2006. She serves on the Board of Directors for ASA (Airport Services Association) and was the Chairperson of ASA from 2017-2018.

Burak Kurt has been part of the air cargo and ground handling industry for over 20 years. He is currently Group Chief Operating Officer – Cargo at National Aviation Services. Before joining NAS, Burak has held various positions such as CEO – Cargo, Regional Director, Cargo Director and more. In his current role, Burak provides both vision and leadership while charting a direction of growth for the business. Aside from his work experience, Burak holds a degree as a civil engineer and dual MBAs from two significant universities in Turkey.
Nick Careen
Senior Vice President, Operations, Safety and Security IATA
Nick leads IATA’s work on safety, security and operations, including airports, fuel supply, passenger experience, cargo and ground handling. Before joining IATA in 2015, Nick was Vice President of Airports, Call Centres and Customer Relations for Air Canada. He built his career in Air Canada and its subsidiary Jazz, where he managed various aspects of airport operations, including Inflight, Flight Operations, Operations Control and Maintenance. Nick brings with him a wealth of experience covering all facets airline operations, human resource management , labor and government relations. He completed his studies in Political Science at Memorial University of Newfoundland and Labrador, and also holds the Master Black Belt Certification from Six Sigma.

Mr Kerry Mok is the President and CEO of SATS and joined the company in June 2018. Prior to this, he was the CEO of YCH Group since August 2017. Mr Mok is a seasoned executive with more than two decades of experience in supply chain management and logistics, he has held various senior appointments prior to his move to YCH Group, including his role in Goodpack Limited as the acting Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer. Before that, he held the position of Managing Director, Strategy - Operations and was also head of the ASEAN Supply Chain Strategy practice for Accenture. Mr Mok was also previously Senior Vice President - Global Head of Technology Sector and APAC Technology Sector & Service Logistics with DHL, accountable for the strategy and growth of the Global Technology Sector for DHL Supply Chain.

Christian is the Senior Director Network Airside & Airport Affairs for DHL Express in Europe and has been in his current position since January 2011. His responsibilities concentrate on any Airside topics and range from Airline Auditing, Safety Management, Airside related training and Ground Handling contracts (Ramp & Cargo) up to Aircraft Weight & Balance systems and DHL`s Operations Standards. His Europe Airside Department is a key connecting link between the different DHL Owned and Wetleased Airline`s and the DHL Ground Operations. Prior to this position, he had been managing the Network Operations Control Center of DHL's biggest Hub in Leipzig. Before joining DHL in January 2009, Christian filled a number of Management positions in the Aviation Industry, with a strong focus on Ground Handling and Cargo Operations, including that of Station Manager in Frankfurt, Dusseldorf and Cologne for Swissport International. He is a member of the IATA Cargo Handling Council and the IATA GOS Team Training, as well as being a long term Member & Chair of the IATA Aviation Ground Service Agreements (AGSA-SGHA) Technical Group. He also supports the IATA Ground Operations Team as an external Instructor for different Courses.
