Dieter Bruneel has worked in aviation across customer services, product innovation and ground handling since 2010. He started his career in customer services for TUI fly Belgium where he had responsibilities in ground operations, inflight services and product development and innovation. Dieter was also then responsible for the integration of Moroccan subsidiary Jet4you into Jetairfly (now TUI fly Belgium) in 2012. He then became at 28 the youngest nominated person for head of ground operations at TUI fly Belgium. Dieter then became director of operations of TUI fly Belgium in 2016. In his current role, he is the responsible board member for ground operations at TUI fly Benelux and all ground support activities for TUI fly Belgium, TUI fly Netherlands, TUI fly Nordics and TUI Airways UK.

Ingrid began her career with Airport Terminal Services (ATS) in 1995 as manager of Airline Services and went on to a procurement position with a major airline. She returned to ATS and over the next 10 years held several leadership positions in sales and marketing. She then served as VP of Global Sales for Cooper Bussmann, a division of Cooper Industries, a global electrical products manufacturer. Returning to ATS in 2013 in her current role, Ingrid’s background in aviation coupled with her global sales and development experience brings an interesting perspective to the development of new products and services. Ingrid has overseen the new construction and renovation of St. Louis Lambert International Airport and New York JFK International Airport, respectively.

Jo Alex Tanem has worked in the aviation industry since 1989 holding a range of positions, mainly senior ground handling roles. He has been Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Aviator Airport Alliance since 2016. The company provides ground handling services at 17 airports for more than 130 airlines in the Nordics and the UK. Previous experience includes as CEO and Managing Director of ARPI Aviation & ARPI Health Professionals, from 2013-2015 and Vice President of Scandinavian Airlines System (SAS) Ground Handling from 2010-2013, where he had responsibility for all on-ground airline operations at SAS and customer airlines at 28 airports.

Des began his career with British Airways in 1970. During 14 years at the airline he held several management positions including Cargo Manager Gulf States and Saudi Arabia in the early ‘80s. In 1984, he established and managed his own forwarding business before joining Air Canada. His next move was to ground handling company Menzies Aviation where he served as Chief Executive at Air Menzies International (AMI) and Managing Director Menzies World Cargo. He was Executive Vice President Cargo for Etihad from April 2007 and, prior to that, Head of Cargo at rival Gulf Air. He retired in 2014 as Global Head of Cargo, IATA.

Mike leads a team of procurement professionals who source worldwide airport/airline related services as well as procure products and services for the airline’s corporate-indirect needs in his role as Director of Airport and Corporate Purchasing. He previously served as the Director of Airport Integration with the 2014 merger of American Airlines and US Airways. In this role he led a PMO group that supported the company’s pursuit of its Single Operating Certificate. Prior to the merger he served as the Director of Station Operations Support at US Airways.
