The president of the Philippines, Rodrigo Duterte, renowned for his hard-line stance on the drug industry in the country, has announced the government will get tough on baggage theft by ground handlers.
The president recently told his government to end the contract of Miascor after it emerged handlers were stealing from bags.
Miascor are a huge ground handling firm in the country. The president has stated that “justice” must be found.
