Qatar Airways continues to grow its network by upping frequencies, adding new routes and up-gauging connections with different aircraft.
The carrier will operate its fourth weekly service from Doha to Montreal with state-of-the-art Boeing 777 from 17 December this year to meet demand in the peak winter holiday season.
The Montreal to Doha sector is 12 hours and 20 minutes and Qatar Airways will operate the 777 with a two-class Economy and Business Class configuration of up to 412 seats.
Along with this frequency increase, the airline has added a state-of-the-art 517-seat Airbus A380 to one of its two daily services from Doha to Frankfurt from 31 March 2019.
The move will increase the airline’s current daily capacity on the Doha to Frankfurt route by 23 per cent. A 777 aircraft will serve the route’s second daily flight.
Qatar Airways has also said it will operate seasonal routes to Antalya, Bodrum, Mykonos and Málaga, with more flights and upgraded aircraft on two routes from May 2019.
The airline will add an extra weekly flight to the Antalya, Bodrum and Mykonos routes from May 2019, as well as upgrading from the A320 aircraft to the larger A330 on all flights to Antalya, with the more spacious Boeing 777 replacing the Boeing 787 Dreamliner on all Málaga services.
Malaga will operate four times a week from 29 May to 29 September 2019, Antalya three times a week from 24 May to 29 September, Bodrum three times a week from 25 May to 28 September and Mykonos five times a week from 22 May to 29 September.
Qatar Airways also recently revealed a host of upcoming new global destinations, including Tallinn, Estonia; Valletta, Malta; Langkawi, Malaysia; and Da Nang, Vietnam.
