Qatar Airways has announced a landmark culinary partnership with world-renowned French chef Yannick Alléno, aimed at redefining fine dining both in the sky and on the ground.
The collaboration brings together the Middle East’s most awarded airline and the world’s most Michelin-starred chef—who currently holds 17 stars across 19 restaurants globally—in a bid to enhance the travel experience for First and Business Class passengers.
As part of the exclusive agreement, Chef Alléno will design bespoke menus blending French culinary artistry with international flavours, reflecting what both parties describe as a shared passion for innovation, elegance, and hospitality.
A New Era of Gastronomy at Altitude
The partnership will see Alléno’s creations served on select Qatar Airways flights in premium cabins, offering passengers what the airline calls a “celebration of the senses”.
Additionally, the chef will launch a new Pavyllon restaurant inside the First Class Lounge at Hamad International Airport in Doha, featuring his signature “gastronomic counter” concept—where guests dine at the counter overlooking an open kitchen.
Travellers will also be able to experience Alléno’s exclusive recipes at Qatar Airways’ lounge in Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport.
“This partnership is a true honour,” said Alléno. “Together, we’ve created menus that reflect our shared values and strive to leave travellers with a timeless, unforgettable experience.”
Setting New Standards
Qatar Airways’ Chief Retail and Hospitality Officer, Thabet Musleh, said the partnership marks a bold new chapter in the airline’s approach to onboard dining.
“We are committed to curating exceptional experiences at every stage of the journey,” he said. “Our partnership with Chef Yannick Alléno represents a major step forward in inflight and lounge dining. Together, we’re ushering in a new era of culinary excellence.”
