Ryanair adds two new routes from Cardiff to Barcelona and Malta

Ryanair today launched its Cardiff summer 2019 schedule with two new routes to Barcelona and Malta and four routes in total – as it doubles its Cardiff Airport traffic.

The low-cost carrier will operate its all-Boeing fleet to Barcelona twice-weekly and Malta twice-weekly along with services to Faro twice-weekly and Tenerife weekly.

Ryanair will operate seven weekly flights and expects to carry 100,000 customers per annum from the Welsh airport.

Cardiff Airport chief executive officer, Deb Barber said it is great to see that Ryanair continues to “recognise the potential that exists” to build on its offering at Cardiff.
