Ryanair fail to prevent Germany strike over Christmas

Ryanair failed to prevent a pilots union strike in Germany over Christmas. It was the first Ryanair strike in Germany.

Pilots went on strike for four hours on Friday 22nd December after talks with the airline did not reach a conclusion.

The Vereinigung Cockpit union became the first union employed by Ryanair to strike, which the airline stated was “unnecessary.”
