The San Francisco International Airport (SFO) has announced the selection of Ralf Ruckelshausen as the new Chief Innovation & Technology Officer for the Airport.
In this role, Ruckelshausen will serve as SFO’s chief technology strategist, overseeing business applications, cybersecurity, digital transformation, innovation, IT operations, and project management.
Mike Nakornkhet, Airport Director, said: “I am pleased to welcome Ralf Ruckelshausen as SFO’s new Chief Innovation & Technology Officer.
“Now more than ever, airports need visionary leadership to drive innovations that enhance and transform the airport experience for our passengers.
“Ralf Ruckelshausen brings a wealth of experience in airport systems and processes, and we look forward to the leadership and perspective he will bring to this role.”
Ruckelshausen joined SFO in 2013 following a career with United Airlines, where he held a variety of operational, planning, technology, and leadership roles across the United network.
