Siemens Postal, Parcel & Airport Logistics has announced the appointment of Adam Hill as the company’s new UK Managing Director to succeed Thomas Amend who has taken up the worldwide role of Head of Mail, Parcel & Material Handling this month.
Adam Hill (pictured) joins from Gatwick Airport Limited where he has recently worked as a Programme Manager on a number of projects delivered by Siemens. Adam’s background is in the construction business having worked in all aspects of project delivery from engineering to project management before moving to a lead role for Gatwick Airport Limited.
As an accomplished professional responsible for a range of projects including many years’ experience at Gatwick Airport Limited, Adam will focus on developing further the company’s expertise in providing solutions and operational support across its portfolio.
Adam said: ‘Siemens has a proven track record with a global pedigree for the efficient installation, operation and maintenance of baggage handling systems with the technical capability to integrate and improve systems and technology.
