Silver Airways is continuing to fly aid into the Bahamas with a flight carrying supplies into Freeport yesterday (Thursday 26 September).
The flight to Grand Bahama Island carried first aid and personal hygiene supplies, food, water and clothing.
The Bahamas were severely affected by Hurricane Dorian and Silver Airways has carried supplies on numerous flights to the island of Eleuthera, including Governor’s Harbour and North Eleuthera, as well as Nassau.
Silver Airways has resumed flights to all airports in the Bahamas not impacted by Hurricane Dorian including Nassau, George Town, Governor’s Harbour, Bimini and North Eleuthera.
The airline says it is committed to fully resuming services to Treasure Cay, Marsh Harbour and Freeport when the airports reopen.
