Southwest airlines is suing a tech startup that monitored its fares and alerted travelers when prices were lower.
SWMonkey, set up by Pavel Yurevich and Chase Roberts, set up the app to monitor the airlines fees.
For a fee of $3 the company would then alert travelers when prices fell.
The company only made $45 before the site was shut down with the airline taking legal action against the two men. The airline stated that the application violated Southwest’s terms and conditions.
