Summer by The Sea: Wizz Air Restarts Flights to Split

Wizz Air, Europe’s greenest airline, today announces the restart of its London Luton flights to the Croatian city of Split. Tickets are available now on or on the airline’s app, with fares from just £21.99.

Just in time for the summer season, Wizz Air has begun operating flights to Split three times weekly. For those looking for a summer escape or an extended trip away, Split is an ideal destination for the buzz of city life and easy access to sand and azure blue waters, as well as being home to some of the world’s most impressive ancient sites.

Sun-seeking passengers can book tickets now, and for added security and flexibility, Wizz Air recommends opting for WIZZ Flex. By doing so, passengers can cancel their flight up to three hours before departure without any fee and get 100% of the original fare immediately reimbursed in airline credit, or change dates and even routes should they want to.

Leading the industry with its approach to sanitised travel, Wizz Air has said ‘yes to flying’ by implementing stringent health and hygiene measures to protect passengers and crew, and ensure the highest level of cleanliness on board. Passengers can rest assured that HEPA filters of all Wizz Air aircraft already filter out 99.7% of viruses and bacteria from the air, and Wizz Air has introduced physical distancing guidelines and protocols to reduce any non-essential interaction or contact.

Owain Jones, Managing Director of Wizz Air UK, said:At WIZZ, we’re saying yes to flying this summer, by leading the way on sanitised travel. UK passengers can rely on WIZZ for great value options for their holiday getaways, and as travel restrictions ease, where better to see out quarantine than in a sunshine destination – why not Split for sun, sand and relaxation for a long break away! We look forward to welcoming passengers back on board our new, green and ultra-efficient aircraft fleet.”
