Mehmet T. Nane, Vice-Chairperson of the Board of Directors and Managing Director of Pegasus Airlines, has been appointed Chairperson of the Board of Directors following the decision taken by the Board of Directors after the Ordinary General Meeting on Thursday, 30 March 2023.

Mehmet T. Nane succeeds Ali Sabancı, who served as Chairperson of the Board of Pegasus for 17 years. Ali Sabancı will continue to serve as Chairperson of the Board of Directors of Esas Holding and as Board Member of Pegasus Airlines.

Mehmet T. Nane, who joined Pegasus Airlines in March 2016, served as CEO of the company for six years before assuming the position as Vice-Chairperson of the Board of Directors and Managing Director in March 2022.
