Romanian carrier AnimaWings has appointed TAL Aviation Group as its General Sales Agent (GSA) for Bulgaria and Israel, ahead of the launch of new regional routes this autumn.
The airline, based in Bucharest, will begin operating flights to Sofia from 1 October 2025 and to Tel Aviv from 5 October.
TAL Aviation’s offices in Bulgaria and Israel will manage sales, marketing and distribution for the services.
AnimaWings currently flies from the Romanian capital to major European cities including Paris, Stockholm, Munich and Prague, as well as leisure destinations across Greece, Spain, Egypt and the United Arab Emirates.
Operating a modern fleet of Airbus A220 and A320 aircraft, the airline is also set to expand, with 12 new A220s due for delivery over the next two years as part of its fleet modernisation programme.
TAL Aviation said the agreement would strengthen AnimaWings’ presence in both Bulgaria and Israel while offering passengers more choice for travel across the region.
Rami Holtzman, Senior Global Sales Director at TAL Aviation Group said: “We are thrilled to be representing AnimaWings in Bulgaria and Israel.
Marius Pandel, the president of Animawings expressed his enthusiasm about the partnership: “We are excited to collaborate with TAL Aviation, whose expertise and established networks will significantly enhance our operations in these important markets.
“We look forward to providing travellers with more options and better connectivity.”
