TAP Air Portugal will launch two weekly flights between Lisbon and São Luís from 26 October 2026.
The flights will be operated with Airbus A321LR aircraft, which are recognised for their comfort and efficiency on long-haul flights. They will have the capacity for 16 Business Class passengers and 155 Economy Class passengers.
Mário Chaves, COO of TAP Air Portugal, said: “The start of the Lisbon–São Luís route represents another strategic step in strengthening our network of destinations between Europe and Brazil. We are expanding the connectivity of our hub in Lisbon with the Brazilian Northeast, creating new opportunities for tourism, business and cultural exchange between Brazil and Portugal.”
São Luís is the 15th Brazilian city served by direct TAP flights.

Frequencies and schedules
Lisbon – São Luís: Mondays and Thursdays, departure at 7:05 pm and arrival at 12:10 am the following day.
São Luís – Lisbon (via Fortaleza): Tuesdays and Fridays, departure at 1:40 am, layover in Fortaleza at 3:00 am, departure at 4:30 am and arrival in Lisbon at 2:50 pm.
