This summer, TAP is increasing its offer to destinations in major markets, such as Brazil and North America.

In Brazil, six flights a week will be added to Recife, for 13 weeks. For Fortaleza and Rio de Janeiro, there will be two more flights a week, giving the routes a total of nine and 12 flights a week, respectively.

TAP will also increase its operations between Lisbon and Belém, Brasília, Natal/Maceio, Porto Alegre, Salvador and São Paulo by an extra flight a week each.

By the peak of summer 2024 season and together with the increased frequencies, the airline will be offering 96 flights a week between Portugal and Brazil, 16 more than the 80 weekly flights operated last summer.

For Canada, four more flights a week to Toronto will be added, compared to summer 2023, bringing the total to 14 flights a week.

The offering also increases the number of flights between Lisbon and Montreal, from five to six flights a week.

In the United States, there are now two flights a day to Washington DC, four more a week than in summer 2023. There will also be an extra flight a week between Lisbon and San Francisco, raising the frequency from five to six a week.

In total, this summer TAP will offer 77 flights a week between Portugal and the United States, five more than in the same period last year, and 20 weekly flights to Canada, five more than in the summer of 2023.

Boosting services to the Americas, TAP will fly three times a week between Lisbon and Caracas this summer, with one service making a stopover in Funchal, on the inbound sector, to add convenience for passengers flying on this to or from Madeira.

TAP is resuming its seasonal operations to popular holiday destinations such as Porto Santo, Alicante, Ibiza, Menorca, Palma de Mallorca, and Naples.

The increased services have been achieved by TAP optimising its operations, its fleet and
aircraft maintenance and engineering.
