Torino Airport closes 2025 with five million passengers, its best year ever.
The airport, which on December 11 had already surpassed the record set in 2024, when there were 4,693,977 passengers, thus confirms the positive forecasts made at the start of the winter season.
Camilla Taddei and Antonino Imbesi, from Turin, arriving from Barcelona on Ryanair flight FR774, are the passengers with whom Torino Airport has surpassed the 5 million record.
They were welcomed by the CEO of Torino Airport, Andrea Andorno, together with many employees of the SAGAT Group.
Andrea Andorno, CEO of Torino Airport, commented: “We are truly delighted to celebrate this milestone. The airport continues to grow, with new routes opening in recent weeks and others already announced for the summer season.
“This is an important result that translates into positive repercussions for the entire region, benefiting the local economy and employment.
“In fact, according to data from the ACI Impact Calculator, our airport generates the equivalent of 35,000 jobs, including direct, indirect, induced and catalytic economic impact.
“Finally, I would like to thank my colleagues in the SAGAT Group and the entire airport community for their daily commitment to welcoming our passengers, as well as all those who have chosen us as the starting or ending point of their travels this year.”
