More than 10 million passengers flew with Turkish Airlines during January and February – 31 per cent above the same two months last year.
During January to February 10.8 million passengers flew with the carrier and the total load factor improved by 6.9 percentage points up to 79.7 per cent, while the international load factor increased by 7.1 points, up to 78.8 per cent.
In February alone, the load factor was 79.7 per cent, up 6.4 percentage points, and the available seat kilometres rose 14 per cent.
Double-digit growth in demand in revenue per kilometre that commenced in July 2017, kept on with 24 per cent demand growth in February 2018.
In February, the load factor increased for all regions. North America, Africa, Europe and domestic lines showed growth among the regions with increases of 11.1 percentage points, 9.9, 6.3 and 4.9, respectively.
