Turkish Airlines starts a route to Sierra Leone - its 52nd in Africa

Turkish Airlines has started a twice weekly rotation to Freetown in Sierra Leone – which becomes the carrier’s 52nd route in Africa.

The new service started on Saturday it also brings the total countries and destinations that are reached by Turkish Airlines to 121, and 301, respectively.

The services will be providing a link between Istanbul Atatürk International Airport and Lungi International Airport via Ouagadougou.

This Freetown route adds to existing services in Africa to the likes of Accra, Lagos, Bamako, Conakry, Dakar, Abidjan, Cotonou, Douala, Yaounde, N’Djamena, Ougadougou, Niamey, Cape Town, and Johannesburg.
