South Korean budget airline T’way Air has announced it will change its name to Trinity Airways in 2026, following its integration with Sono Hospitality Group.

The new name, drawn from the Latin Trinitas meaning “three coming together”, is intended to reflect the merger of aviation, accommodation and travel services.

Under the rebrand, Trinity Airways aims to create synergies between T’way’s expanding global network – which spans Asia, Europe and the Americas – and Sono’s hotels and resorts.

Joint travel packages and a shared membership programme will be introduced as part of the strategy.

A full rebranding, including a new livery, is scheduled to begin in the first half of 2026.

The airline said the move signals a “new leap forward”, with a focus on customer safety and sustainability at the core of its vision.
