Vietjet has officially launched ground handling services for third-party airlines, with Hunnu Air as its first customer.
The debut operation took place in Hanoi, where Vietjet Ground Services handled a charter flight connecting Vietnam and Mongolia.
As Vietnam’s largest airline, Vietjet continues to strengthen its aviation infrastructure.
Already managing ground handling for its own operations, the airline is now extending these services to external carriers—further expanding its role on the apron.
Vietjet has relied on iPort as its Departure Control System provider since 2019.
Their team was on-site in Hanoi for the first handled flight to ensure a smooth setup and offer on-the-ground support, reinforcing a collaboration that’s been in place for years.
