Viracopos International Airport (VCP), São Paulo, recorded a new passenger traffic record in 2025, handling 12.8 million passengers — a 3.5% increase year over year.
Flight movements also grew, reaching 124,613 operations (+2.2%), reinforcing VCP’s role as a fast-growing hub in Brazil.
International traffic was a key highlight. For the second time, VCP surpassed 1 million international passengers, reaching a historic high of 1.11 million in 2025 (+29% vs. 2024).
Growth was driven by expanded long-haul connectivity, including new nonstop services to Madrid and Porto launched in mid-2025.
Today, Viracopos offers direct international flights to Fort Lauderdale, Orlando, Lisbon, Madrid and Porto, plus seasonal services to Mendoza and Bariloche.
With strong demand fundamentals and a strategic location serving the São Paulo metropolitan region and Brazil’s interior, VCP is actively engaged with airline partners to develop new international passenger and cargo routes in 2026 and beyond.
