Virgin Atlantic is to start a new Boeing 787 aircraft route between London Heathrow Airport and Las Vegas’ McCarran International Airport International Airport in Spring 2019.
Virgin Atlantic is also adding a second daily Airbus A330 flight to Boston on the US east coast from Heathrow and is to bring back a seasonal direct service to Barbados in the Caribbean.
The UK carrier’s chief commercial officer, Shai Weiss said: “From spring 2019 we’re making it even easier for customers to travel from London Heathrow to Las Vegas and Boston by introducing new flights.
“The new services have been timed to offer convenient onward connections for UK and US customers, and feature our award-winning service, a three-course meal and inflight entertainment on every flight.
“We’re also pleased to bring back our popular seasonal service between London Heathrow and Barbados to offer even more choice for holidaymakers.”
In March, the carrier announced that in October it will also introduce a second daily service to Johannesburg and has also added new flights to Orlando, and Belfast from the UK.
