Viva Aerobus, Mexico’s ultra-low cost-carrier, informs that as of February 1st, 2020, Gian Carlo Nucci, current Grupo Viva Aerobus’ CEO, will leave this position, which will be held by Juan Carlos Zuazua, the airline’s CEO.
Gian Carlo Nucci has decided to step down from this position due to personal projects. “I appreciate the opportunity to have contributed to the company’s vision and strategy. Viva Aerobus currently has the most competitive business model in the Mexican aviation industry, and I am very pleased to have been part of its history“, said Gian Carlo Nucci.
Juan Carlos Zuazua said that “working alongside a professional like Gian Carlo has been a great learning opportunity. I am confident that the solid foundations he built as the head of Grupo Viva will allow us to continue with sustained growth and further expansion during the next decade; we will honor the commitment to continue growing and benefiting our passengers with low fares and great customer service”.
