The service departs from the Bavarian capital to Florence five times a week and the low-cost carrier is utilising an Airbus A319 every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday on the sector.

Along with the new connection to Florence, Vueling is also offering services from Munich to Rome, Barcelona and Palma de Mallorca this summer.

Florence is an important base for Vuelling, which is part of the International Airlines Group (IAG). The Spanish carrier serves 120 short and medium-range destinations in Europe, North Africa and the Middle East.
