WestJet adds new Halifax-Dublin route

Canadian carrier WestJet is growing its Atlantic gateway from Halifax with the addition of daily non-stop service to Dublin in Ireland starting 29 April, 2019 through to 25 October, 2019.

The service will be operated with a Boeing 737 MAX aircraft and will bring the number of routes from Halifax International Airport to 16 cities including London Gatwick, Paris, Dublin, Glasgow, Toronto, Vancouver and Calgary.

WestJet executive vice president commercial, Tim Croyle said the carrier is “proud” to be the carrier with the most transatlantic flights from Halifax while being a strong driver of economic and employment growth in the region.
