Wizz Air: nine new routes launching this Autumn

Wizz Air UK today announces nine new ultra-low-fare routes from its bases at London Luton and Gatwick Airport.

The new routes will offer passengers the opportunity to travel to exciting destinations in Europe and beyond with tickets available now on wizzair.com or via the airline’s mobile app, with fares starting from £20.99.

Destinations include Tallin, Estonia; Hurghada, Egypt; Prague, Czech Republic; Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt; Agadir, Morocco; Hurghada, Egypt; Grenoble, France; and Verona, Italy.

A mixture of year-round and seasonal routes, flights will launch from October 2022 onwards, with four routes from London Luton, and the remaining five from Gatwick Airport.

Passengers flying from London Luton can look forward to year-round flights to Tallin, Hurghada and Prague.

For travellers eager for some winter sun, Wizz Air is launching twice weekly flights to Sharm El Sheikh where passengers can enjoy a relaxing break on its famed sandy beaches.

Building on its expansion at Gatwick Airport earlier this year, Wizz Air will launch a further five routes from its base. This includes four flights a week to the Moroccan coastal city of Agadir, a new station for Wizz Air.

Known for its golf courses and wide crescent beaches, there are plenty of activities to interest any type of traveller. In addition to Agadir, passengers can look forward to year-round routes to Hurghada and Verona.

Seasonal flights will also operate to Sharm El Sheik or for those looking to ski in the Alps, there will be weekly flights to Grenoble over winter.

Since its first flight to the UK in May 2004, and the subsequent opening of its first base in 2017, Wizz Air has been expanding and diversifying its network to fly passengers to favourite holiday destinations as well as those more off the beaten track.

Now operating more than 60 routes from across the UK, the airline’s continued investment in the UK demonstrates its long-term commitment to serving the market.
